I am a 3D artist who makes figures out of wire than gives them fabric skins, clothing (or tack, I do loads of horses) and other gear out of fabric, leather, beads and sheet metal (copper, brass, steel) I am very good at animals and my humanoid figures have canine heads, I started out doing bear wire so plain balls of wire just didn't work.
